Zonely Wins Women In Golf
Charter Award

Zonely took home Excellence in Community Engagement at the inaugural Women In Golf Charter Awards at Huntingdale Golf Club on Friday, 29th November 2024.

The Women in Golf Charter is an initiative introduced and backed by The R&A, the global home of golf and proudly supported by the golf governing bodies here in Golf Australia, Golf NSW, PGA of Australia and WPGA Tour of Australasia. It is a global strategy to progress gender inclusion and get more women and girls playing the game of golf, but also working in the industry and taking roles in leadership and on boards.

Zonely WIGC Award

The 2024 awards nominated clubs, facilities, programs and individuals who have signed up to the charter, built a dedicated action plan and executed programs, engagement and innovation for gender inclusion, progression and equity at their home club.

Zonely Founder Alicia Nagle said, "to be in the room and get to meet so many women (and male champions!) from all over the country who are doing BRAVE work to push for more female engagement, members, employees, captains, presidents and directors was such a thrill. This award is for our amazing Zonely community; the kind, friendly and legendary humans who join us, play golf with us and tell their friends, family and workmates to join too. Without their support and ongoing membership, we wouldn't be here today. They are why we do what we do."

There were 5 awards in total. Zonely was nominated for Most Progressive Club/Facility of the Year which went to The National Golf Club. Alicia was in the running for Most Influential Woman in Golf which went to Deb Kember from The Brisbane Golf Club. The Women and Girls Program of the Year went to Windaroo Lakes Golf Club in QLD and Best Initiative for Overall Women and Girls Engageent went to Busselton Golf Club in WA.
